Concept: The Art of Aesthetics

Your journey with Kai Clinic starts here

below we outline what you can expect at every stage of the aesthetics journey

I. Research your procedure

At Kai, we empower patients to embark on their journey fully informed. While we encourage thorough research into desired procedures, rest assured, we're here to provide all necessary information. Our approach prioritizes safety and evidence-based practices. Procedures are meticulously tailored, respecting individual anatomy, a skill honed through our extensive surgical training. This unique expertise ensures a level of precision and understanding unparalleled in the field, instilling confidence in every step of your aesthetic journey. See our services section for more information on procedures provided.

II. Book your consultation

Please use our booking form to book your consultation. We advise you also submit an image with a description of what areas you would like us to focus on.

A fee of £100 applies for all initial consultations, which can be redeemed towards any subsequent treatments. This fee reflects the expertise and individualised attention provided by our highly trained professionals. Should you decide to proceed with treatments during the consultation, they can be conducted immediately or scheduled for a later date according to your preference. For follow-up consultations associated with a booked treatment, no additional charge is incurred.

Be wary of free consultation offers by other clinics, as this often indicates a surgeon or provider that do not value their own time, and are likely not to meet the standards of care.

III. At your consultation

On the day, we welcome you to attend 15 mins before your consultation, to rest in our waiting area and help yourself to beverages, enjoy our weekly fresh flowers and indulge in the latest issues of Vogue.

Our initial consultations typically last up to 30 minutes, during which we delve into your medical history, meticulously examine your anatomy, and ascertain the safest and most suitable treatment options. This is your chance to ask as many questions as you like and share your thoughts. We strive to align our services with your needs and expectations, ensuring a personalised approach tailored to you. However, we uphold a commitment to never proceed with any procedure that we believe may yield unfavourable results or compromise safety.

You are invited to come back as many times as you like before making your final decision.

IV. Before your procedure

Prior to any procedure, it is standard practice for all patients to sign a consent form. This form acknowledges their understanding of the procedure, including its associated risks, and confirms their willingness to proceed. This step ensures that patients are fully informed and actively engaged in their treatment process.

As part of our comprehensive approach to treatment, we take a photograph before and after the procedure commences. This serves several important purposes. Firstly, it allows us to accurately compare the treatment outcome, facilitating a detailed assessment of the effectiveness of the procedure. Additionally, these photographs are invaluable for mapping future procedures, ensuring consistency and precision in our approach over time.

Moreover, these images contribute to our ongoing learning and professional development, enabling us to refine our techniques and enhance patient outcomes. It's important to note that if the patient consents, we may also utilize these photographs for educational purposes, such as presentations or publications, and for future marketing efforts on social media platforms. Rest assured, patient privacy and confidentiality are paramount, and we strictly adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines regarding the use of patient images.

  • A medical consent form is a document that provides legal authorization for medical professionals to administer treatment or perform procedures on a patient. It outlines the details of the proposed treatment, including potential risks and benefits, and ensures that the patient or their authorized representative understands and agrees to the procedure. Signing the consent form indicates that the patient gives informed consent, acknowledging their understanding of the treatment and its potential outcomes. This form is crucial in ensuring that medical care is provided in accordance with the patient's wishes and in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

It's important to note that healthcare providers, like those at Kai Clinic, are typically unable to proceed with any medical treatment or procedure without obtaining a signed consent form from the patient or their authorized representative. This requirement ensures that the patient's autonomy and right to make informed decisions about their healthcare are respected. Therefore, the consent form serves as a crucial prerequisite for any medical intervention, serving both ethical and legal purposes.

V. After your procedure

Following the procedure, we schedule a follow-up appointment in two weeks' time to review its outcome comprehensively. During this appointment, we address any concerns that may have arisen and determine if additional treatment is necessary. Additionally, patients receive a safety form detailing potential complications to be vigilant about.

Furthermore, we encourage open communication and offer accessibility to all patients via email or text for any issues or queries that may arise post-procedure. This ensures continuous support and timely assistance throughout the recovery process.
